Amanda Donahue, MS, ATC (she/her)

Amanda Donahue has served as the Athletic Trainer for the Palladino School of Dance & School of Arts at Dean College located in Franklin, Massachusetts since 2013. She strives to empower her performers with knowledge of injury care and prevention to care of their bodies during their college career and beyond. In addition to Dean College, Amanda works with the physical therapy team providing care for the Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program and has worked with the athletic training team for the Boston location of Blue Man Group. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northeastern University and her Master of Science in Kinesiology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As an athletic training student, she interned with the athletic training staff for the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.

 

Amanda currently serves as the Performing Arts Committee Chair for the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) Council of Practice Advancement, is an active member of the Performing Arts Athletic Trainer’s Society (PAATS), and the International Association of Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS). She has presented at various conferences such as the NATA Annual Symposium and IADMS both within the US and internationally. Her passion of dance began at a young age with ballet and is currently a competitive ballroom dancer.
